The TLC Boudoir Experience is all about you, from the first time we talk to the moment when you crack open a luxurious album full of your glamorous portraits.
Let’s run through this experience in detail, so you get a sense what it is all about.
Getting Ready
It starts with you sending us a short message about your interest. (Jump to the bottom of the page if you are ready to do that now.) We’d then like to get on the phone with you and talk. We are pretty busy, but getting to know you is our priority. It’s always fun to see what questions you have about boudoir and we are always excited to hear about your ideas for a shoot. We’ll want to talk shoot locations, too. We love shooting in our new home studio. We have a beautiful pool with waterfall, a hot tub, and a full range of luxury sets. But our favorite thing to do is an adventure shoot, and Las Vegas has rightly been called the Capital of Adventure Boudoir. Once we decide on a shoot, we can set a date right then and there.
Your Shoot Day
We only do one shoot per day and we are focused on you, and only you, on your day.
When you arrive at the studio, you’ll be greeted with a glass of Champagne (or the beverage of your choice) and we’ll spend a few minutes getting to know each other in person. We’ll then take a quick walk through the space so you can get a sense where the magic happens.
Makeup, Hair, and Pampering
Now it’s Taty’s Time. She's a licensed cosmetologist who has studied in both the U.S. and Israel. She’s got a full makeup kit and she’ll make you look your very best for the camera. Or, if you like, she can style something special. She has her full makeup kit in our home studio, but she is also able to take it on the road for an adventure shoot. Wherever we are and whatever you want, she will get you ready for the shoot with professional makeup, hair styling, and maybe a bit of pampering. This usually takes about an hour. And Taty generally spends the whole day with us, touching up your makeup and making sure your hair is looking good throughout the shoot.
The actual photo shoot lasts 90 minutes to two hours – sometimes a bit more. We are in no rush and want to get the best possible shots. And we do. Larry provides expert posing guidance. He has experience working with both new and experienced models and will talk you through the poses and, often, strike the pose himself to show you how to do it. Taty will also be there, directing aesthetics, giving suggestions, suggesting props, and fixing your makeup and hair whenever they need it, and and lighting. You will be amazed when you see your first raw images on the back of the camera. You’ll be astounded when you see the final retouched versions.
Two hours is plenty of time for 3-4 outfit changes. We’ll work with you to get the best possible shots taking full advantage of the outfits, the space, and the lighting to express your personality and your beauty through the portraits.
As you can see from some of our photos, we also love working out in nature. We have identified lots of spectacular locations near Tel Aviv for shoots. Let us know if this is something that interests you.
You will actually be tired after two hours of posing. It will be time for a bit of a celebration. We’ll have coffee, lunch, or maybe finish off the champaign while we take a first look at some of the raw images together.
That said, while the raw images are spectacular, we are artists and perfectionists. Just like a painter won’t let you walk out of his studio with his initial sketch, or an author doesn’t publish his rough draft, we believe in taking the time to hand craft the final image and make sure it lives up to its full potential. Usually, Larry can have your full shoot, usually more than 100 photos, fully edited in a week.
If you can do it, we’d love to have you back in the studio once the editing process is finished to for a little reveal party. We’ll view the dozens of beautiful works of art that the three of us have made together and you’ll decide which are your favorites. We will then sit at the computer and design your album. In all, the reveal session can take an hour or two.
When your album is in, we hope we can get together again for an unwrapping party. This is the final step in the process – the celebration of a real accomplishment.
Are you ready to send that first, short, message?
